M.C. Dean Incorporated has a plant no more than 5 minutes from our campus. M.C. Dean is offering our students an opportunity to participate in their accredited Electrical Apprenticeship Program while they are still in high school.
Students: If you are interested in a career as an electrician then please see your counselor today and sign up to attend a student interest meeting with M.C. Dean’s David Nelson this Friday (March 2nd) at 2:25 pm in the CHS cafeteria.
Parents of current juniors, sophomores, and freshmen: If you want to know more about the program then please attend our information session for parents on March 12th at 5 pm in the CHS Library with David Nelson and Cavalier administration. Please see Mr. Roberts or Mr. Just at the high school if you have questions about the program prior to the meetings.

Due to the weather issues, the Industry Certification Project Graduation Remediation Program for this week will be rescheduled for January 23rd through the January 25th after school. Students involved with the FFA Club under the guidance of Mr. Hunter Gravatt earned 1st place at the Tractor Troubleshooting team competition and the small engines team placed first at the federation and will go to area championships in April 2018.
CHS FFA also placed first in the tractor division of the Bowling Green Christmas parade last Saturday on December 16th, 2017.
Sophomore Aiden Hall wanted to master all of the Microsoft Office Specialist certifications available at Caroline High School. Through his dedication to the GMetrix program, he was able to achieve his Microsoft Office Specialist Master Certification. This level of expertise required that he pass the following Microsoft Office 2016 certification exams: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Expert Word and Expert Excel.
The CTE Open House at Caroline High School was a success and the Administration would like to thank the CTE teachers, Germanna CC, M.C. Dean, the Caroline County Fire Department, and parents for supporting this event.
Caroline High School recent graduate, Victoria Holtzman, competed at the TSA (Technology Students Association) National Competition this past weekend in Orlando, FLA. Caroline High School CTE Teacher, Mr. Neil Black, also attended the event to support Victoria at the competition. Congratulations to both Victoria and Mr. Black for making it to Nationals for TSA!
Victoria Holtzman finished 2nd at the TSA (Technical Students Association) State of Virginia Competition this past weekend.
Victoria has qualified for the National Competition that will place this June in Orlando, FLA. Great job Victoria and Mr. Black!!!!
